Enjoy these Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries, where fresh strawberries are hollowed and filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties or a sweet snack, guaranteed to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water, gently rubbing them to remove any dirt.
  2. Pat the strawberries dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
  3. Slice off the green tops of the strawberries to create a flat base.
  4. Hollow out the center of each strawberry using a sharp knife or a small melon baller, being careful not to cut through the bottom.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese.
  6. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes).
  7. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  8. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  9. Add the sour cream and mix until smooth.
  10. If desired, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  11. Fill a piping bag with the cheesecake mixture or use a spoon to fill the hollowed strawberries.
  12. Pipe or scoop the filling into each strawberry, packing it in well.
  13. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of each filled strawberry.
  14. Place the filled strawberries on a serving platter. Any leftover filling can be served on the side.
  15. Cover the platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  16. Garnish each strawberry with a fresh mint leaf before serving.
  17. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a citrus twist, add a tablespoon of lemon juice or zest to the filling.
  • For a chocolate version, mix in cocoa powder or melted chocolate.
  • Substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a healthier option and adjust sugar to taste.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
