Description

Strawberry Monkey Bread is a scrumptious dessert that combines fluffy, buttery dough pieces with a sweet strawberry glaze. Perfect for sharing or indulging solo, this treat is sure to bring a smile to your face!

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Unsalted butter
  • Salted butter
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and slice the strawberries. If they are large, cut them into smaller pieces.
  3. In a small bowl, combine about 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  4. Open your refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. Take each quarter of dough and roll it in the sugar and cinnamon mixture until fully coated.
  6. In a greased bundt pan, layer the coated dough pieces and strawberry slices, alternating between dough and strawberries.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered dough and strawberries.
  8. Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Remove the monkey bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully invert it onto a serving plate. Serve warm and enjoy.
