This Frozen Yogurt Apple Slice Bark with Berries is a delightful and refreshing treat that combines crisp apple slices with creamy yogurt and vibrant berries. It’s a guilt-free indulgence that’s perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
- Apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- Plain Greek Yogurt (2 cups)
- Honey or Maple Syrup (2-3 tablespoons)
- Fresh Berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
- Chopped Almonds (optional)
- Chopped Walnuts (optional)
- Chia Seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry your apples thoroughly. Slice them into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick, and remove the seeds. You should get about 8-10 slices per apple.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of Greek yogurt with 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup. Stir until well blended and adjust sweetness to your liking.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arrange the apple slices in a single layer. Spoon the yogurt mixture generously over each apple slice, making sure to cover them completely.
- Sprinkle fresh berries over the yogurt-covered apple slices. You can also add any nuts or seeds at this point for extra texture.
- Carefully place the baking sheet in the freezer. Let the bark freeze for at least 2-3 hours until solid.
- Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer. Gently peel the apple slices away from the parchment paper and break them into pieces. Serve immediately or store for later!
