Description
This Garlic Butter Beef Cheesy Bowtie Pasta is a comforting one-pot meal that combines rich garlic butter flavors with tender beef and cheesy goodness. Perfect for busy weeknights, this dish is sure to become a family favorite!
Ingredients
- Bowtie Pasta
- Ground Beef
- Garlic
- Butter
- Cheddar Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Heavy Cream
- Parsley
Instructions
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
- Once the beef is browned, stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add the remaining butter and let it melt into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until they are melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the cheesy beef sauce. If needed, add more pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a burst of color and freshness. Serve immediately while it’s hot and cheesy!
