Ingredients
-
1½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
4 tablespoons butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
-
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
-
Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Add steak in a single layer (don’t overcrowd) and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
-
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant, about 1 minute.
-
Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer.
-
Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until sauce thickens slightly.
-
Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
Notes
-
Sear the steak bites quickly at high heat for the best juicy texture.
-
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better than pre-shredded cheese.
-
If the sauce gets too thick, add a splash of cream or broth to loosen it.
-
Works beautifully with ribeye, NY strip, or tenderloin cuts too!
