Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle of dry white wine (750 ml)
  • 1 cup peach schnapps
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 2 cups soda water or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash all your fruits thoroughly using a gentle produce wash.
  2. Slice the peaches into wedges by cutting around the pit and twisting the halves apart.
  3. Hull the strawberries by removing the green tops and slice them into thin pieces or halves.
  4. Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds, about 1/4-inch thick.
  5. In a large pitcher or bowl, combine the sliced peaches, strawberries, orange, lemon, and lime.
  6. Pour the entire bottle of dry white wine over the fruit.
  7. Add the peach schnapps to the mixture.
  8. Gently stir with a long spoon to combine, being careful not to mash the fruit.
  9. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  10. When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice cubes.
  11. Pour the sangria over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full, including some fruit slices.
  12. Top off each glass with soda water or lemon-lime soda, depending on your preference.
  13. Gently stir to combine the soda with the wine mixture.
  14. Add fresh mint leaves to each glass for an elevated presentation.
  15. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing homemade peach sangria!

Notes

  • Customize your sangria by adding other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or pineapple.
