Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of hot sauce. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are well coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the wings in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- In the last 10 minutes of baking, brush the wings with more of the brown sugar mixture.
- Check that the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and have a nice golden brown color.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions if desired.
