Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound (450g) fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
- 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- Celery sticks
- Carrot sticks
- Blue cheese or ranch dressing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Make sure it's fully heated before baking the salmon bites for even cooking and a crispy exterior.
- Prepare the salmon by cutting it into 1-inch cubes. This ensures that they cook evenly and stay juicy. Avoid cutting them too small, as they may dry out.
- In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, Dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon of water until smooth. This mixture will help bind the salmon together and add flavor.
- Add the salmon cubes to the egg mixture, tossing to coat each piece thoroughly. This step is crucial to ensure the breadcrumbs adhere well to the salmon.
- Transfer the salmon cubes to the breadcrumb mixture and toss until they are evenly coated. Press the breadcrumbs onto the salmon to create a thick layer, which will enhance the crunchiness.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking. Arrange the coated salmon bites in a single layer, making sure they are not touching each other for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C) and the breadcrumbs are golden brown. Check at the 10-minute mark to prevent burning.
- While the salmon bites are baking, prepare the Buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and then whisk in the hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until combined and heated through, then remove from heat.
- Once the salmon bites are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a minute. Toss the warm bites in the Buffalo sauce until they are evenly coated. This will give them that signature spicy kick!
- Serve immediately with celery and carrot sticks on the side, along with your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy your delicious Buffalo Style Salmon Bites!

Keywords: Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure even cooking and crispiness. Adjust the cayenne pepper in the sauce to suit your taste, and consider marinating the salmon in the Dijon mustard and some of the Buffalo sauce for added flavor.
