Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Mince garlic, finely dice shallots, zest and juice lemons, remove meat from lobster tails, and pick through crab meat.
  2. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 ½ to 2 cups of pasta water before draining.
  3. Create the lobster & crab butter bomb: Melt 6-8 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add half of the minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds. Add lobster meat and sauté for 2-3 minutes until opaque. Add crab meat and warm for 1 minute. Remove seafood and set aside, leaving butter in the skillet.
  4. Build the lemon cream sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining garlic and shallots, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Pour in broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes, scraping up browned bits. Reduce liquid by half, then stir in heavy cream and half of lemon zest. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine & finish: Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce, pour in reserved lobster and crab, and toss gently. Add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately: Divide pasta among bowls, garnish with fresh parsley and remaining lemon zest, and enjoy!
